Recreational and Competitive Soccer Players/Parents:

We will be having our competitive team try-outs starting on Tuesday, May 29th and ending on Friday, June 1st.  We have also set aside Saturday, June 2nd as a make up day in case of bad weather during the week.  The schedule for the try-outs will be as follows:

Tuesday, 5/29 and Thursday, 5/31 all Girls U9 through U19  will be trying out at Osprey Park.
Wednesday, 5/30 and Friday,6/1 Boys U9 through U12 will be trying out at Osprey Park.
Wednesday, 5/30 and Friday, 6/1 Boys U13 through U19 will be trying out at Vista #1 and Vista #2. 
Saturday, 6/2 Rain out make up day which will be held at Osprey Park.

Tryouts will begin promptly at 6pm and end at approximately 8pm each day.  If the Saturday make up day is needed, start times will be decided during the try out week.  All players who are interested in playing competitive soccer for Hunter's Creek Soccer Club should make every attempt to be present for both days of the tryouts.  It is recommended that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the tryouts so that you can register and arrive at the assigned field prior to 6pm start time.   Please see the attached flyer for more information. Continue to check the HCSC home page for further updates as we get closer to that week.  

HCSC BOD wants to take this opportunity to thanks our membership for continuing to support our soccer club. Another successfull season is rapidly coming to an end, and we are already looking forward to the Fall 2012/Spring 2013 seasons.  We hope to see as many players as possible at the upcoming try outs.

HCSC & FPS School Of Excellence (SOE)

The HCSC/FPS School of Excellence (SOE) program caters for motivated young players, boys and girls, ranging in age from 4-10 years old.  SOE is for all players who are looking for supplementary soccer experiences with full-time qualified coaches from Florida Premier Soccer. The FPS coaching staff prides itself on having a fantastic ability to install an infectious enthusiasm in every child.

Players will be focused on learning and developing the core fundamental components of soccer during this key development age. With various programs being run year round FPS are able to offer a fantastic environment for youth soccer development at every level.

U5 & U6 Academy News
 

U5 and U6 Academy Practices start this week:

U5 Academy will be on Mondays or Wednesdays at OSPREY Park.  There will be two practice times available per day, and you can select one of the two.  The times are:

First Practice time is 5PM untl 5:45pm
Second Practice time is 5:45pm until 6:30pm 

U6 Academy will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays at OSPREY Park.  There will be two practices times available per day, and you can select one of the two.  The times are:

First Practice Time is 5pm until 5:45pm
Second Practice Time is 5:45pm until 6:30pm

It is highly recommended that you visit one of these day for your respective age group and set your practice schedule time for this season.  A member of the HCSC Board will be present to answer questions you may have, and to provide uniforms to new players.  

On-Line Registration For the Spring 2012 Rec season is now CLOSED!!!


Registration Information:

 
Please be advised that the On-Line registration portal closed at midnight on Friday, February 24th, 2012.  Any requests for registration after that date will be handled on a case-by-case basis by our Club Registrar.  There is a $10 late registration fee after that date.
 
***The upcoming recreational soccer season will begin on or about Saturday, March 10th, 2012.  All recreational teams (U7 through U12) will begin practicing the on or about the week of March 03th, 2012 .  Sometime before that week, Volunteer Coaches will begin to contact parents/players in order to set team rosters and practice schedules for the Spring season.  Uniforms will be distributed during that week as well.***

Hunters Creek Resident ID Card Required - Tuesday, May 08, 2012
Information for all Hunters Creek Residents:  As we start nearing the end of our 2012 Spring Season the Board of Directors wanted to remind everyone planning to return in the Fall 2012/Spring 2013 season you will be required to have your Hunters Creek ID number at time of registration in order to receive your Hunters Creek Resident discount. If you do not have the ID number at time of registration you will NOT receive your Hunters Creek Resident discount. If you need to obtain a Hunters Creek ID please visit the Hunters Creek Publix and they will issue you one for FREE.  

Overdue Payments for 2010/2011 Season - Tuesday, May 08, 2012
Just a friendly reminder to those HCSC members that have not completely paid their registration fees for the past season. These fees need to be paid in order for your child to be able to register and participate in the 2012/2013 soccer season.   If you do not pay what is due the player will be placed in "bad standing" with FYSA.  If this happens you will not be able to register with any club until your outstanding balance is paid in full.  There are two ways to pay; (1) mail a check for the full payment owed to HCSC, 14101 Town Loop Blvd., Orlando, FL. 32837; or (2) Log-in to your HCSC account and pay with a Visa or Mastercard.   If you have any questions concerning a payment please email the Club Treasurer at casaperez01@aol.com .  Thank you. 


    
 Tournament Results: Minimize

Coach Alex Roa's U13 Boys placed second in the Bazooka Tournament during the weekend of May 5th & 6th.  They had a great run and came within a goal of winnning the Bazooka Championship.   The team then went to the GCF tournament on May 12th, and won the U13 Boys GCF Championship!!!  This is a first year team that has done extremely well.  Great job to Coach Alex and the U13 Thunder!!!
